Welcome to the North East Sport Aviation
(NESA) Web site.

planeWelcome to the North East Sport Aviation (NESA) Web site. NESA is committed to light sport aviation and offers light sport flight instruction, LSA service and repair, LSA annuals and 100-hour inspection, Rotax engine repair, and other light sport training. NESA is based out of Resnick Airport (N89) in Ellenville, New York.

NESA has added support for weight-shift and powered- parachute light sport aircraft and can perform 100-hour and annual condition inspections on these aircraft.

One of our primary goals is the promotion of recreational and sport flying. This includes ultralight vehicles and light sport aircrafts. We offer demo flights in our Aeropro Eurofox Light Sport Airplane. The Eurofox is an excellent example of light sport aircraft. Constructed of tube and fabric and powered by a 100-horsepower Rotax 912, this airplane is capable of flying over 500 miles at 110 knots, while burning around 4 gallons per hour. If you would like to learn more, please call or email using the below-noted contact information.

NESA periodically hosts the ELSA 16-hour Repairman course.  This course allows owners of experimental light sport aircraft to perform annual condition inspections on aircraft they own. For more information about the course or to sign up for the waiting list, please see the Rainbow Aviation website.  Upcoming classes are listed on our 'Events' page.

NESA is an authorized Rotax Repair Center and can perform everything from line work to heavy maintenance on your Rotax two-cycle (447, 503, and 582 series) or four-cycle (912/914 series) engines.
